Values, Aims and Ethos

Values & Ethos At Galley Hill Primary School, every individual is valued for who they are and what they contribute to the school family. All members of staff and all pupils are involved in promoting positive values. These values support the development of the whole child as a reflective learner within a calm, caring, happy and purposeful atmosphere. As a school community, we believe the vision and ethos of the school should be based on a foundation of core British values such as honestly, respect, happiness, responsibility, accountability, tolerance and peace. Aims At Galley Hill Primary School, we are committed to giving all our children every opportunity to achieve their best and fulfil their potential. The achievement, attitude and well-being of every child is vital and inclusion is the responsibility of everyone within our school. Every teacher is a teacher of every pupil, including those with special educational needs and disabilities. We respect and welcome the unique contribution which every individual can make to our school community.  We recognise the importance of all subjects and strive for excellence in them, providing an exciting and stimulating personalised curriculum.
