The school gates will be open on a morning from 8:40am with registers taken at 8:45am. Parents with a child in Nursery need to take them into the Nursery foyer where they will be greeted by a member of the Nursery team. Children from Reception to Year 4 should be accompanied by an adult onto playground and the adult should stay with the child until they have safely entered school. Parents of children in Year 5 and 6 must give permission for their child to walk to school unsupervised. We expect children in Year 5 and 6 to make their way to the school entrance as soon as the gates open.
The school expects all children to be on the school premises at this time. When the children have entered the school building, the gates and doors will be locked. Any children arriving after this time should be taken to the school’s main office.
At the end of the school day, children in Reception to Year 4 must be collected from their entrance point. Year 5 and 6 children with permission to walk home alone will be dismissed at 3.20p.m.
Please note that children will not be dismissed to an adult if the school has not received written or verbal consent from a child’s parent or carer. You can give permission on who may collect your child on Arbor.
